About

Criminal lawyer and one of the founders of Toron Advogados.

Master and PhD in Criminal Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), postgraduate degree in Economic Criminal Law from the Faculty of Law of Coimbra (Portugal), and in Constitutional Law from the Faculty of Law of Salamanca (Spain).

He is a Federal Advisor of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Journal of Criminal Sciences, of the Executive Board of the Manoel Pedro Pimentel Institute (USP) and of the Brazilian Society of Victimology.

He was president of the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences (IBCCrim) and of the State Council on Narcotics, in addition to Deputy General Secretary of the Federal Council and President of the National Commission on Prerogatives of the OAB. He was also a judge at the Regional Electoral Court of São Paulo.

He is a professor of Criminal Law at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and guest professor in the master’s program at Universidade Cândido Mendes.
